On teaching korean

After a long hiatus I have decided to continue working on my website www.koreankorner.weebly.com

After studying Korean for several years now I feel that i would like to teach what i have learnt.

I tried my best to explain things as simple as i could.

Trying to figure out how to implement google adsense adverts onto my website was quite difficult but i think It's working properly now.

using an ipad mini retina to create comics

So recently I've been using an app called procreate to write my comic series, www.thefireintheice.thecomicseries.com

Before i was using sketchbook which was good but procreate is so much better!

Heres why:

1. You can use a lasoo type tool to select parts of your drawing and resize and move it around. For example if I drew a character's head too small I can easily select the head and enlarge it.

Before, I had to duplicate the layer and erase the parts I didn't want to change.I

2. You can rotate the canvas by using two fingers and twisting on the screen.

This is really useful for using the natural arc movement of your wrist. Before, I had to rotate the whole device which would become tiring.

3. Procreate records every stroke you make while drawing. So you can export the video and upload to youtube.

These are the main reasons I can think of right now. Also you can press undo as many times as you like and you can create a lot of layers before you reach the limit.

The only thing I don't like is that there's no tools for drawing straight lines, circles or other shapes.

The only way I've found to create a straight line is to make a new brush that is shaped like a black square then resize that into a thin line. A bit cumbersome but at least it gives a way to draw a straight line. Hopefully procreate will have shape tools later on.

Here's a time lapsed video of me drawing a page on procreate.
